The 17th annual Pembroke Round Table charity fishing match was held at Amroth last weekend. In dry, bright, though cold conditions, 65 anglers took part, with 23 fish being weighed in by 15 anglers, at the Amroth Arms. Winner of the competition was Leigh Rogers, with a 585g flounder, followed by Hilary Harries, 2nd, and Phil McCarthy and Andrew Jamieson, joint 3rd. The winning lady was Tina Lustig and the winning junior, Phillip Mills. A total of £230 was raised by Pembroke Round Table, which will go to local charities.
