Sixth form students at Tenby's Greenhill School have been busy over the past couple of weeks persuading fellow pupils to take part in the Operation Christmas Child project. Since 1990, the project has brought the joy of Christmas to more than 47 million boys and girls throughout the world, reaching the poorest parts of the globe. This annual project enables caring individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and other organisations to fill ordinary shoe boxes with small toys, school supplies, sweets, and other gifts for needy children around the world. Greenhill sixth form students - James Lewis, James Shuttleworth, Hannah Emery, Ria Farrell, Kirsty Mclean, Laura Williams and Lucie Hadley managed to involve the whole school in the project, with over 70 shoe boxes wrapped for the appeal being collected this week.
