A huge thank you to everyone who has been along to any of the eight Sing for Sartori sessions that have been held - so far! - in Cardigan, Newport, Dinas, Solva, Johnston, Haverfordwest, Roch and Letterston.

The events drew together such a variety of singers, some very experienced indeed, others admitting to not having sung since junior school, with quite a number who had been told that they couldn’t sing at all - just not true!   

Altogether, nearly 300 people raised their voices for Sartori, the youngest a baby and the oldest in their 90s, with many really committed singers coming to all of the sessions. That’s real dedication! All of the events were free with retiring bucket collections, raising a quite wonderful £866.03 for the Paul Sartori Foundation.

Future Singing for Fun Sartori events include: Sing for Sartori on June 26, at 3 pm (All Saints’ Church, Walton West, Little Haven, SA62 3UB), a free come-and-sing session - with a bucket collection - for anyone wanting to have a go at singing; experienced and completely inexperienced singers equally welcome!; Raise the Roof for Sartori on July 14, at 7 pm, (HPB St. Bride’s Castle, St. Bride’s, SA62 3AL), a ticket only event, every penny going to the Foundation; tickets are £5 each and must be booked in advance from 01646 636717; Sing for Sartori on August 7, at 3 pm (by Anchor House B&B, Broad Haven seafront), a come-and-sing session, with delicious cream teas on offer!
