Sometimes we wonder why we're here, Then realise it's for time to share
With loved ones here and some long past,
The memories, they're here to last.
To share time loved is such delight, Able to beckon without a light,
But look around and there's darkness formed.
Its here as promised, time reforming! Trains falling off decrepit tracks,
Oil shipping tanks bursting its banks,
Roads more than congested with road rage too
By teenage years, kids filled with glue.
Most parents are busy, too busy to see,
Others join in, there's profit you see,
But how can't they see it's their own children they're harming,
With misleading ways, showing smiles oh so charming,
And with heads held so high with some government spiel,
We're hoping that this time, they've made the right deal.
On hearing the news, we watch, we wait,
The card has been drawn 'Fickle Finger of Fate,'
Perhaps it's time to make a show, Surely this planet's worth a go.
Some people are lost, others just ill,
The rest of 'em sheep, and they've had their fill,
Of misguided pastures, told of peaceful and green,
On getting there finding a blood bath to screen,
There's only one answer in-bred from the heart
Shame people learn this as they depart,
So if ever down Harbour to Laston House find!
With letterings shown should give peace of mind.
Know not the meaning, between me and thee,
Scribed just like numerals, it's all Greek to me.
Some say souls through sands of time washes through
Then gazing on, we don't know if its true.
The answer be simply, stumble or fall
For in capitals shown 'WRITING'S ON THE WALL.'
