There was a fabulous afternoon of entertainment at Brooklands Nursing Home on October 29.

Residents, relatives, staff and everybody interested were invited to watch an 'Old Time Music Hall' show which had been arranged and performed by the Brooklands' Support Group.

Old, well-known sing-along-favourites were brought to life through the performance of the 'Brooky Gals' and memories of a familiar television programme came back as Mr. Grimsdale and Norman Wisdom appeared on stage.

The music/dancing acts were supported by Sue Strzelecki, who played the accordion and encouraged the audience to join in, whilst the fantastic and colourful outfits were all handmade by Ann Thomas.

A big thank you to Mike Bridge for being the presenter throughout the show and to everybody who gave their time for the preparation and set up.
