On behalf of Tenby Inner Wheel Club, may I once again, through your columns, thank everyone who has filled a shoebox with gifts for deprived children abroad.
Last week, we sent away almost 600 boxes and they are now on their way to Kosovo and Belarus. This is an amazing response, especially during their difficult times.
We would like to thank the following for their continued support.
The staff, children and parents of the local schools, namely, Tenby Primary and Junior Schools, St. Teilo's School, Greenhill School, Manorbier and St. Florence Schools; also St. Johns Sunday School, St. Issell's Church, The Crusaders, Soroptimists, ladies of Tenby Golf Club, Tenby Ladies Circle and Tangent Clubs, nurses and friends of Withybush Hospital, residents of Kilgetty and many, many friends in the area.
Also, our grateful thanks to the management and staff of the Mini Market, New Hedges, for allowing us to use it as a collection point, and to everyone who has helped in anyway to make this worthwhile project such a success.
