The children in Narberth C.P. School have been busy collecting learning resources (pencils, crayons, rulers etc) for the children in the Cuzco area of Peru. A former pupil of the school Sadie Rodeo is at present working with the children in this area. Links between the two areas are planned when the pupils will exchange letters, drawings and photographs as well as collecting shoes boxes full of resources and materials.
This project has found great enthusiasm with the children with many boxes already full. As the school leads up to its Harvest Festival on Wednesday, October 16 at Bethesda Church the children will pack and post these parcels.
The school would also like to hear from anyone who can help sponsor postage for boxes to Peru (approximately £2.65 each).
