Sir, Shame on the mindless idiot who put tacks on the road during the Long Course event on Saturday, July 12. Do you know it could have been fatal? Do you have children? I don't think you do. The ladies and gentlemen who take part in the Long Course weekend train for months, if not years, to take part; they also have to take care of their diet. They work and save hard for their equipment. Many do it to raise money for charities and raise awareness of their charities. My son ran for his nephew who died last year, aged two-and-a-half, from a terminal, untreatable illness. You may one day need these charities. I hope if someone knows you, they will report you to the police. Shame on you.
