The annual Penally Senior Citizens Lunch took place on Thursday, February 26. Although there were several absences due to illness, 45 people attended.

The Village Hall looked very spring-like decorated with daffodils. Flowers for the tables were arranged by Margaret Brown.

After grace said by Christopher Lunn, all sat down to an excellent lunch, which was paid for by Penally Community Council.

A vote of thanks was given by County Clr. Carol Cavill.

Special thanks go to Doreen Axon and her band of merry helpers, A. Barton, A. Buet, J. D'Arcy, J. French, P. Grist, A. Hunt and L. Law (seen above).

Entertainment during the lunch was ably provided by Denis Heaton, who had many singing along with him.

All left having enjoyed good food and good company, already looking forward to next year.
