Sir, Through your pages I wish to express my appreciation of the wonderful Tenby Round Table 50th anniversary Senior Citizens Christmas Party at the De Valence Pavilion on Wednesday, December 10. No effort was spared to ensure that Tenby's older people, perhaps 150 of us present, had a lovely evening. From the three-course turkey dinner with all the trimmings, flowing wine, and transport to and 'from the event,' everything was spot on. The carol singing by Tenby Junior Choir and St. Mary's Church Choir was enchanting and what can one say of 'Ole Mr. Blue Eyes' himself, none other than Tenby's very own Laurie Dale, who has entertained audiences with his suave singing and good humour at all 50 Tenby Round Table senior citizens Christmas parties? I reckon he should be in the New Year Honours List. Finally, the free raffle, with prizes donated by Tenby's Sainsbury's supermarket, was much appreciated by all those who won prizes in it.
