The second successive washout looks likely to have gifted league leaders Lamphey the Ocky White Pembroke Cricket League division one championship.
With everyone picking up five points as rain again put a damper on proceedings on Saturday, defending champions Lamphey moved a clear 30 points ahead of nearest rivals Carew.
After superb weather all season and a nip and tuck tussle between the two top dogs, it's ironic that the issue looks to have been settled without a ball being bowled over the last fortnight for, while it is still mathematically possible for Carew to catch Lamphey, it would require them to obtain maximum batting and bowling points in a win over Folly Farm Kilgetty.
That, however, would only put them on level peggings with the Dave Lovell skippered leaders, and the title holders only need to pouch just one point in their clash with Haverfordwest to sew things up to retain the silverware.
At the other end of the table, Burton already know that they are fated to return to division two, but there is still a question mark over who will join them.
Whitland on the other hand have home advantage over Burton and will be battling hard to avoid making an early exit from the top flight after only joining the division at the start of the season.
Already assured of their places back in the upper echelons next season are Hook and Llangwm, who are leading the field in division two.
If it were not tense enough for Narberth wondering the fate of their first XI, their second string will also be battling hard to avoid joining Spittal in the long drop to division three.
While they are languishing in the relegation zone, they are only two points adrift of fellow contenders Johnston, and nine points behind Haverfordwest and a good win against Llangwm could be enough - although they will also be anxiously awaiting the result of their first team's game, as relegation for the senior side would mean an automatic decent for them, too, as two teams from the same club cannot play in the same division!
Saundersfoot and Llechryd make the jump to the second division, although there is still a question mark over who gets promoted as division three champions, with only two points separating the sides.
Haverfordwest 3rds are already consigned to division four, but who will join them is still in doubt, with Lawrenny 2nds and Herbrandston both tied on 218 points and Hundleton just four points above them in the basement.
Lawrenny face a tough task against title-chasing Llechryd, Herbrandston take on mid-table Llanrhian, while Herbrandston travel to meet fourth-placed Fishguard.
Manorbier look odds on to be playing their cricket in the third division next season as they are 21 points clear at the head of the fourth.
Maenclochog and Burton 2nds are both vying for second place, so they will both have all to play for when they meet at Oatfield Park tomorrow (Saturday).
Relegated St. Ishmaels look likely to be joined by either Pembroke 2nds or Hook 2nds in division five, but with Kilgetty 2nds and Llangwm 2nds only just outside the relegation zone, it could go right down to the wire.
Lamphey 2nds will be making the step up to the fourth division as division five champions and could be joined by either Stackpole 2nds or Dinas who are only separated by eight points in the second and third spots.
Resigned to playing in division six next year are Llechryd 2nds, who could be joined by either Burton 2nds or Neyland 3rds, depending on the outcome of their matches against Spittal 2nds and Dinas, respectively.
Carew 3rds and Pembroke Dock are promoted from divison six - although the match between bottom-placed Herbrandston 2nds and the Dock is subject to a decision by the county executive.
