Tenby United played a strong Pembroke side in a very entertaining game at Crickmarren midweek, returning home victors by 47 points to 19.
Resting many members of the first team, it was a chance for the Seasiders to give other members of the squad a run out, including new signing, Australian forward Ben Armstrong and re-signings Dai Balkwill and Steve Williams.
It was also an opportunity to give Youth players Will Crockford, Robert James, Jason Newell, James Davies, Mark Stephens and Nicky Guymer more match experience at senior level, and they all impressed the coaching team with their commitment and work rate.
Tenby are planning to hold midweek fixtures every three weeks, the next one being under lights aganst St. Clears at Heywood Lane next Wednesday (October 16).
