Dyfed Powys Police requested coastguard assistance in searching for a 52-year-old male in the Carmarthen area shortly before 6.30 pm on Saturday.

Tenby, Manorbier, Llanstephan and Burry Port Coast Rescue Teams were tasked, together with South Pembs. sector manager. Mid and West Wales fire service boat was launched and a thorough search of the riverside and surrounding areas was carried out with nothing found.
