Sir,

The name of Darwin connected with Science as taught to local schoolchildren reported on page 5 in the recent Tenby Observer reminded me of a quotation from Channel 4 television programme entitled Genius Charles Darwin, which I first viewed last year.

I wonder how many times your readers will reckon that the evolutionist narrator scored an own goal in favour of special creation, rather than in support of Charles Darwin's evolution in the following quotation?

'Recent advances in genetic engineering have brought mankind to the brink of what is, arguably, its most controversial experiment - the cloning of human beings. The act of creation, of bestowing life itself has become a product of genetic science. It is now possible to bypass the long process of evolution in order to create new species without reference to nature'.

How many young people realise that the first documented case of cloning occurred inside the Garden of Eden? Because of something that happened possibly a day later, clothing was first 'invented.'

The Creator is omniscient and knows of short cuts that we cannot begin to imagine. To limit God to creation using evolution is worse than imagining eyesight relies upon slow processes inside the darkroom of our head!
