Tavernspite CP School PTA organised a great evening of bingo at the Alpha Inn on Saturday. Parents, children and staff had fun playing bingo and bidding in the auction. There was stand-up bingo for the children. It was wonderful to see so many ex-pupils of Tavernspite School at the event. Thank you to all the companies and friends of Tavernspite School for their donations, making the evening such a great success, namely Alpha Inn; South Carvan Caravan Park; Bambi, Lynnette Evans and Rhiannon Edwards; Asda, Pembroke Dock; Andrew Rees and Sons; Co-op, Kilgetty; Jane Williams; Josh Griffiths Butchers; Nantyffin Hotel; Happy Shopper, St. Clears; Woolworths, Tenby; Angela Morgan; The Bush, Robeston Wathen; Wisemans Bridge; Marie James; Llanteg Nurseries; Andrew Price; Utopia; Alice Russell School of Ballet; Marros Riding Centre; Hugh and Jean John, Carvan Course Fishing; Biffa; Ospreys. Thanks also to Janice Rees, Anne Ebsworth, Haydn Morgan, and a special thank you to Yvette Hughes for all her hard work in organising such a fantastic evening. A total of £860 was raised on the night. However, there were still some outstanding items to be auctioned - a ride in a Lamborghini, a signed Glamorgan cricket shirt and a rugby ball, signed by the Scarlets. This was due to be done at the Christmas Fayre.
