The Pembroke Dock Festival Group, working with Pembroke Dock Town Council, is organising a winter lantern parade to welcome Father Christmas to the town.
This parade will take place on Friday, December 5. The parade will leave the youth centre on Bush Street at 6 pm and will finish in the grounds of the dockyard chapel where the evening will end with a wonderful laser display.
In the lead up to the lantern parade, many workshops will be held by Sand Palace Arts and the festival group to make the lanterns for the children and adults to carry in the parade
Workshops will be held at the schools in the town to make the lanterns for the parade but there will be open workshops held in the Youth centre on Bush Street on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, from 11 am until 3 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend these open workshops in the youth centre. Please attend.
On Saturday, December 6, Father Christmas will be at the Pater Hall from 11 am - 4 pm with presents for the children of the town, everyone is welcome.
