The first of the two Kiln Park Bourne Leisure sponsored Tenby Round Table Spectacular events took place on Sunday, July 28, at Tenby Harbour.
For the most part, the weather shone fair on proceedings and huge crowds enjoyed a superb atmosphere in the natural arena throughout the afternoon and evening.
The Samba Doc band led the procession to the harbour. Tenby Mayor, Clr. Sue Lane, kindly gave her time to officially open the event and Tenby Round Table chairman, Ashley Naidoo, warmly welcomed all, before introducing the Irish dancers, followed by the Samba dancers.
During the afternoon, other acts to perform on the stage included The Kiln Park/Bourne Leisure entertainment crew, dancing with Fergie, Kiln Park's Bradley Bear and the Kelly Williams School of Dance street dancers and performers.
Refreshments were provided by Tenby Round Table, 41 Club and Tenby Ladies Circle and a hog roast was also available to keep the masses well fed.
Charity stalls filled the car park area, with stall holders that included Paul Sartori, Friends of Greenhill, Heatherton face painting and Tenby in Bloom. Games and children's entertainments were sited on the Harbour Beach and Round Table members were more than happy to warmly mingle with the crowds in a very sociable manner!
During the later evening period, several bands took to the stage, including The Collective, Borderline Friends, Calm Preece-Lewis and Tuxedo Funktion, all to the appreciation of a sizeable crowd.
The traditional fireworks display ensured that a huge (but damp) audience were entertained until the end of the night with a typical Round Table Spectacular send-off.
This Sunday, Tenby Round Table is pleased to host the second of their Kiln Park/Bourne Leisure sponsored Summer Spectaculars.
The event will be at Tenby Harbour from 3 pm. Tenby Mayor, Clr. Sue Lane, will again officially open the event.
The weather forecast is looking far better, so please head on down for more fun and entertainment from the various bands, singers and dancers.
Again, refreshments will be available with the kind help of Tenby Ladies Circle, Tenby 41 Club and Tenby Round Table.
The grand firework display will be at 10 pm, which will draw an end to the evening's fun and with the hope that lots of money has been raised for many deserving local charities in the process.
