Save the Children in Tenby held their annual concert this month at St Mary’s Church which coincided with the VE Day 80th anniversay celebrations and raised over £1100 for the charity.

Tenby Church in Wales VC school took part, along with St Teilos RC school, and both schools gave marvellous renditions of songs from Mary Poppins and then joined in with Tenby Community Choir to perform ’Sing’ by Gary Barlow, with tremendous voice.

The guest singer was Charlotte Martin with her band members Andrew and Emma who gave the most fabulous performance of a medley of Vera Lyn songs.

The evening was brought to a conclusion with the outstanding Tenby Male Voice Choir who entertained every one with a selection of their repertoire.

The audience then joined the VE Day procession to Castle Hill to conclude an extremely successful evening.

Grateful thanks goes to all concerned.
