75 Christmas trees from Saundersfoot’s ‘Big Christmas Switch On’ have been given a second life after being delivered to nearby Folly Farm where they’re now being happily munched by the zoo’s Nubian goats!
Alex Rudman, Love Saundersfoot’s membership manager recently met with one of the Folly team to deliver the trees that were used all around the seaside village throughout December.
“Not only is this a brilliant way to recycle Christmas trees, but it’s also enrichment for the animals, keeping them busy, stimulated, and well entertained,” events group ‘Love Saundersfoot’ shared.

“Huge thanks to the team at Folly Farm for helping us turn festive leftovers into something truly baa-rilliant.”
As well as reducing waste, the recycling sure has put a smile on the goats faces!
