The Met Office is warning of strong winds and heavy rain from tomorrow (January 8), with Storm Goretti likely to hit Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

There is also the possibility of some sleet and snow hitting West Wales once again.

Pembrokeshire County Council shared: “Keep an eye on weather forecasts and stay safe. If you have to travel - DO NOT drive through flood water.

“Flood water can be deeper than you think, carry debris and have hidden dangers. Just 30cms of flowing water is enough to float your car.

“Be mindful of the risk of trees and branches falling with non-prevailing winds expected.”
