To quote the Tenby Observer, ‘Saundersfoot Swim just gets bigger and better every year.’

The evidence is the fact that approaching 1,900 medals were presented and spectators filled every available vantage point.

The event does not happen by accident, but is the product of so many people working together.

The organisers would like to express their thanks to a host of people for their support.

Our loyal sponsors ensure that the swim can continue to evolve and that every penny raised by the swimmers goes to the respective charities.

Sincere thanks also to those who prepare the beach in the early hours of New Year’s Day, as well as to all stewards, bucket collectors, publicity team and helpers, as well as the expertise of the individuals involved in the entertainment.

We are grateful for the appearance of the lifeboat, Haydn Miller, and for the professionalism of all the emergency and rescue services.

Special thanks to all those individual and group swimmers, especially to those who donned fantastic costumes.

Congratulations to Mick Booth for winning the best individual fancy dress and to Malin House for the spectacular Trojan Horse.
