A spruce-up of some of Saundersfoot’s seaside surroundings has been welcomed.

“The painting of the bollards is going extremely well and I would like to thank all the various volunteers who have given up their time to try and enhance the look around the village,” said county councillor for the south ward Cllr Chris Williams, who gave special thanks to James Bennett who has gone ‘above the call of duty’ - even paying for the sandpaper and the gold paint to complete the job!

James said: “A run of fine weather at last! More bollards and lamp posts painted on the High Street.

“My thanks to the Harbwr Bar for the refreshments and everyone's words of encouragement and appreciation as you've walked, jogged or driven by.”
