Saundersfoot Sea Angling Club fished a six-hour rover last Sunday, but only half of the competing anglers weighed in. Venues included Amroth, Telpyn, Morfa Bychan and Giltar Point. Results: 1. Jon Brace with a bass of 1.11kg (10 points and a magnificent Power Storm rod rest supplied by Keith and Michelle, of Tenby Angling); 2. Merve Brace with a bag of flounder of 1.19kg (eight points and £25); 3. Tony O'Neil with a bag of 0.78kg (six points and £10); 4. Lee Hart with a bag of 0.71kg (four points and £5). Golden Peg was Darryl Jones, who didn't compete. The pot continues to roll over and is currently £178. The next SSAC match is: Sunday, June 17 - six- hour rover sponsored by Jane and Christopher Tucker, of The Argosy, Saundersfoot. Sign on at the Sports Club 1.45 - 2 pm, fishing 3 - 9 pm, weigh in at the Chemist Inn, with the scales closing at 10 pm prompt. £100 first prize, £50 second. Leaderboard after 10 matches: 1.
