Sail Training
Sail training was held on Saturday. This week all managed to get on the water - one young sailor narrowly avoided sinking after forgetting to insert a bung!
TASTER SESSION
Saundersfoot Sailing Club is running a taster session tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 pm. Anyone over the age of eight, adults and children alike, is welcome. There is no charge, you just need to bring a change of clothes and yourselves! For further details, please contact Tina on (01834) 812383. We will be starting our beginners courses at the end of May. These are RYA certificated courses run by RYA qualified instructors.
RACE RESULTS
Two races were held on Sunday. The first race was won by Paul Griffiths, with Leighton Price second and Keith Jones in third place. Paul Griffiths and Leighton Price also held those positions for the second race of the day, while John Roberts came third.
Coppet Week
Can all OOD, assistants, safety boat crews for Coppet Week please note a training night will be held on May 16 at 7.30 pm. If you would like to help at Coppet Week, either on the water, near the water or in the clubhouse, contact Tina (dinghy captain) on 01834 812383. Social
The Sail Training grand raffle will be drawn on May 26. There will be many great prizes. Tickets are now on sale for £1 per book, available from the sailing club or from Tina on 01834 812383.
Membership
Please could any membership fees outstanding be paid as soon as possible. You don't need to sail to become a member of the club. Social membership is available for just £5 per year. Come and enjoy a drink on the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking views !
