With dementia an increasing problem within our society, many may have noticed mats at the entrance to Regency Hall in Saundersfoot and some of the local shops within the village to raise awareness and assist those suffering with the syndrome.

Tenby and Saundersfoot have set up Dementia Friendly Clubs, where people can meet others, play games and share time with other people in a similar situation to themselves.

The mats provided by Saundersfoot Rotary Club encourage and support people living with dementia to help and give them mental support and courage to enter buildings which they may have found difficult to do previously.
