Saundersfoot Community Council is organising the annual Remembrance ceremony at St Issells Church on Sunday, November 9 at 10.40am. To facilitate a safe ceremony, road closure orders have been issued by Pembrokeshire County Council.
From 10.20am until approximately 11.20am, all roads leading to St Issell's Church will be closed to traffic except for ceremony attendees and local access.
This includes the B4316 Pentlepoir Road from Saundersfoot School up to the junction with the Fan Road. Also the road from Hean Castle Estate to St Issell's Church.
Marshals will be in place to advise motorists of alternate routes.
A spokesperson for Saundersfoot Community Council said: “We encourage all those who are able to do so, to walk to the ceremony or car share.
“Ceremony attendees in cars arriving after 10.20am will be able to park on the verge of the B4316 during the ceremony - all cars parked on the road must be moved immediately after the remembrance ceremony finishes.
“Anyone attending the church service after the remembrance ceremony should approach from the Saundersfoot School direction and will be guided by marshals to park in the Old Mill Caravan site.”
