The police station at Saundersfoot remains an operational building with an authorised establishment of three police officers.
Currently one of the officers is acting in the rank of Sergeant at Pembroke Dock, but will hopefully return to her post in the near future.
There is currently one vacancy for a constable's post, which will be filled in the short to medium- term future.
"Local constable Mike Smith continues to be a very effective local constable who is the essence of a local bobby," said Inspector Les Clark at a recent community council meeting.
"During the summer months, the strength of Saundersfoot Station has been augmented by several officers drafted in from the training unit at DHQ Haverfordwest who patrolled the area together with brand new constables."
