The annual general meeting of Saundersfoot in Bloom was recently held at the Regency Hall. Chairman Keith Williams welcomed everyone present and thanked the members for their hard work during the past year.

The Flower Festival had been very successful, with thanks going to Rev. Osborne for allowing the use of St. Issell’s Church and the schoolroom. Thanks to the members were also given by president Duncan Hilling and Mr. Bryan Harries.

The officers were re-elected en bloc. They are chairman and treasurer, Keith Williams, vice-chairman, Joan Allen, and secretary, Rosemary Hayes.

It was decided to hold a coffee morning at the Regency Hall on Friday, April 15. A good attendance is hoped for.

The Flower Festival will be held at St. Issell’s Church from August 16 - 20. The draw has taken place for positions and letters will be sent out later. Memorial pew ends will be available again this year - please contact any committee member if you wish to remember a loved one in this way.

The garden competition will be on July 14 and judges will be Duncan Hilling, Keith Williams, Alwyn James and Bryan Harris.

Posters will be made available for the schoolchildren to take part in the poster competition to advertise the Flower Festival; these will be delivered after the Easter break.

Members are looking forward to another busy and exciting year.
