Christmas lunch
Father Christmas and his fairy helper (seen above) dropped in to see members and friends of Saundersfoot Bowling Club on Sunday during their Christmas lunch.
Members of the bowling club joined forces with the whisters who enjoy a game of cards every Monday night at the club for the festive event.
Nearly 60 diners sat down to a lovely traditional Christmas meal prepared by several of the lady bowlers.
Everybody received a gift from Father Christmas, prior to being entertained.
Whist results
Monday's whist results at the club were:
top score - Juanita Davies; 1st lady - Audrey Williams; 2nd lady - Megan Shanklin; 1st gent - John Davies; 2nd gent - Elsie Pendlebury; highest first half - Rene Baggott; highest second half - Beryl Marsh; lowest score - Beryl Lawrence; longest sitter - Diane Barrett.
Whist drives are now suspended over Christmas and New Year.
The next one will be on Monday, January 11, 7 pm in the clubhouse.
