Ladies Captain's Thanks
Ladies captain Kath Blayney would like to thank all the girls for their support during the season, particularly the St. Issell's Ladies and her fellow selectors, Amanda Lewis and Diane Rigden. Kath wishes Lorna Bissell, next year's club captain, all the very best.
Ladies' Dinner
The ladies of Saundersfoot Bowling Club will be holding their Christmas dinner at the Mulberry Restaurant, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, December 15, 7 for 7.30 pm. A list for those wishing to attend is on the noticeboard in the clubhouse, along with a menu from which to make your selections.
John Badham Shield
After a wet summer, the weather was to have the last word on the 2007 season. The John Badham Shield, the traditional end of season tournament, had to be called off on Sunday due to the inclement weather. It will, however, be played at the start of next season.
Whist drive
The first whist drive of the winter season was held on Monday. Results were as follows: top score - Joyce Waters; 1st lady - Diane Barrett; 2nd lady - Gladys Irvine; 1st gent - John Lawrence; 2nd gent - Colin Roden; highest first half - Beryl Marsh; highest second half - Ann Lewis; lowest score - Heather Buckley; longest sitter - Frank Buckley; raffles - Audrey Williams and Sue Roden.
