Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, was the venue last Friday for a charity auction in aid of funds for Cancer Research UK.
Some 200 items had been donated by friends and local businesses, as well as a pen from the Prime Minister and a silk tie from the First Minister at the Welsh Assembly.
Auctioneer for the evening was Mr. Paul Lewis, of Silver Strand Tea Rooms, while the grand sum of £1,452.50 was raised.
The chairman, Mr. Geoff Somner, thanked the committee for all their help and support, with special thanks going to Paul for all his hard work on the night and to Powells Holidays for the advertising space.
Next event is Coffee and Carols at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot, on Monday, December 15, with entertainment by Mrs. Eva Rich and Mr. Dennis Reed. There will be a £2 entry fee.
