Tenby Ladies Circle are hosting an End of Summer Fling... Cabana Style' at Trefloyne Manor, Penally, on Saturday, October 1.
The event is a kickstart to this year's chosen charity, SWS Wales.
The charity Support With Scoliosis Wales is a regional charity which supports the whole of Wales helping families and children that have scoliosis and also raising awareness of the spinal condition that forces the spine to curve into an 's' shape.
The fun-filled event came about whilst Circle members were having a discussion to do 'something fun' and raise money in the process.
Tenby Ladies Circle always look forward to Samba Doc's arrival at the Summer Spectaculars; the band even pause for a moment and let them partake in their own samba using rolling pins and trays as musical instruments!
This event only will also be supporting a local charity, Pembrokeshire Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Tenby Ladies Circle were inspired by a recent article which they read in the Tenby Observer in which a very brave little girl called Mia has the condition and thought that this may also be a worthwhile local cause.
Tenby Ladies Circle has recently proposed at an area meeting that the group take on the area project.
After chairman Cath Graham read an in-depth report regarding the condition and the SWS charity, the area executive members and all regional Circles agreed to Tenby 452 taking on the project.
"I was delighted at the outcome as this will mean that all local Ladies Circles in our region will also raise money towards the SWS Wales charity, which is a great achievement," said Tenby chairman Cath Graham.
"This is a charity close to my heart as my daughter Tyler suffered with this condition and had spinal surgery to correct it; also recently Tenby Ladies Circle member Jayne Osborne's daughter Bethan has had the operation and past member Karen Tully's daughter Lizzy had the operation last year also.
"These are to name just a few. There are seven cases alone in the Tenby area, whilst in Wales there are 30,000 cases.
"We haven't had much of a summer this year, so why not join us and Samba Doc for a fabulous end of summer fling cabana style."
Tickets are available from Jazz Radio and all Circle members. Please call Cath on 07837 610511 if you have any enquries or wish to buy a ticket.
