After weeks of rehearsals, Samba Doc made the journey to Boncath to proudly take part in the Urdd Eistedfordd.

Lone drummer and musical director of Samba Doc, Jez Holden, took centre stage, calling in the band to start the opening ceremony with a literal bang; joined by Samba Doc and various other talented singers, musicians and dancers, the ceremony culminated in a stunning display of pyrotechnics.

It was a great privilege to be a part of and contribute to such a stunning performance starting off the Urdd Eisteddford with a Samba bang!
