The Ladies Fellowship (Cameo Club) at The Salvation Army, Tenby, 'went to town' on Monday evening with a fabulous Italian-themed meal.
On this occasion, men and families were also invited and the hall was full, with six, beautifully presented, long tables each seating six people.
From the buffet, there was a choice of meat and vegetarian lasagnes, spaghetti bolognese, Tuscan bean casserole, pasta carbonara and pizzas, with accompanying salads and ciabatta.
No prizes for guessing the dessert - Neapolitan ice cream, but there were prizes of chocolate for the tables which won the three quizzes held during the evening.
The evening's proceeds went towards the Helping Hand HIV/AIDS programme in Africa and a visiting Portuguese Salvationist and his family who had been working in Mozambique told the assembled how 'every penny' of financial contributions like this made a difference to those living with disease and poverty in African nations.
