Tommy D'Ortez and Elouise Hill (pictured) are wished the best of luck on their amazing effort for this up and coming weekend.
They have been training hard over the summer months for what can only be described as an 'epic' feat of physical endurance.
The pair are competing in the Votwo Pembrokeshire Coastal Challenge, a marathon a day for three days over Pembrokeshire's coastal path.
The 78.6-mile race will take them from Dale Harbour, through to Newgale beach, Porthgain and finishing in Pwllgwaelod.
Their motivation and inspiration was the tragic loss of a friend and outstanding member of our community, Paul Edi Edmundson.
Please help them reach their targets by sponsoring either in person at several locations around Tenby and Saundersfoot (Tenby Leisure Centre, The Jazz Sweet Shop, Fiveways Garage, The Harbour Cafe, The Coffee Tavern Saundersfoot) or alternatively online at http://www.justgiving.com/RunForEddie">www.justgiving.com/RunForEddie.
Whilst you wind down and enjoy your weekend, the pair will be testing their limits of physical strength and mental determination running for several hours over muddy hill, beach and rock. Look in next week's Observer for a follow up to see if they made it. Thank you for your donations.
