Local members of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) are pictured after receiving a financial boost from the 'Llanion Warriors' Celtic Rowing Club. The Llanion Warriors presented £2,400 to the organisation and another sum of money to Macmillan Cancer Support recently at the Jolly Sailor pub. "The fund-raisers wanted to donate the money locally and we are very grateful for their wonderful efforts; we will be putting the money into our memorial fund," said CRY member, Mrs. Maureen Ward, of Tenby. "The TA's in Carmarthen will also be fund-raising for CRY towards screening facilities in their TA Centre in Carmarthen for anyone at risk," she added.
