Tenby Round Table were delighted to meet with members and volunteers of Llaeth Mam Breastfeeding Groups recently to present them with a cheque for £1,247 to help keep up their support for breastfeeding mothers in the Hywel Dda health board area.
This group of volunteers give up their time to provide breastfeeding support to families through group meetups, an online community, and one-to-one counselling and guidance.
“We’re delighted to be able to support groups like Llaeth Mam so that they can continue to help families access valuable expertise and guidance that they need!” commented a spokesperson for Tenby Round Table, who recorded a record fundraising year in 2022 totalling £27,344 which will go to various worthy causes throughout the coming months.
“We are beyond excited and thankful to be able to receive this incredible donation from Tenby Round Table,” said a spokesperson for the Llaeth Mam group.
“This will enable us for the next 9 months to continue paying for our Tumble venue, train up to seven new peer supporters and also offer a monthly fully funded IBCLC consultation with Tors Pearcy IBCLC - Breastfeeding Support.”
