Ashley Goddard and Roseanna Beresford, both sixth formers at Greenhill School, recently experienced a very enjoyable week at Dolygaer Outdoor Education Centre which stands in a very picturesque setting within the southern foothills of the Brecon Beacons.

During the strenuous course, Ashley and Roseanna took part in various activities, including kayaking, caving, abseiling and orienteering etc. These activities are designed to improve the students leadership, team building and personal development qualities.

Ashley and Roseanna were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tenby.

Within the near future, they will be talking to the Rotarians about their experiences and they will be presented with their RYLA certificates.

Any local youngsters wishing to take part in RYLA 2011 should contact Tenby Rotary Club. The age criteria is that the students must be no more than 17-years-old at the beginning of the course
