Narberth and Whitland Rotary Club have announced that its Autumn concert due to be held in October will focus on caring and the NHS as a thank you to service over the current crisis.
Rotarions have announced that later in the year 100 tickets will be given away randomly via a Facebook competition to people working within the Hywel Dda Staff Only COVID-19 Hywel Dda Health Board NHS and Caring Professions as a thank you to looking after patients in many ways during the Covid 19 outbreak of 2020.
The other beneficiary will be the Paul Sartori Foundation which does wonderful work in the caring profession in Pembrokeshire.
The concert is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 3, and will star top classical crossover singers and Britain’s Got Talent stars Richard and Adam who are supported by Whitland Male Choir.
If the concert has to be postponed later in the year the tickets will be valued when the concert is reconvened.
The free tickets will be in Block A of the theatre.
The Rotary Club who also hold an annual vocal and instrumental Young Musician contest, are thrilled to also be able to invite four Pembrokeshire young musicians to take part in the concert - Ffion Mair Thomas (soprano), Carys Underwood (Marimba), Annest Davies (Harp) and Phoebe Salmon (vocal).
Ffion and Carys won the Club and Pembrokeshire heats and went on to represent South Wales in the Regional Final at Telford. Annest and Phoebe also put on fantastic performances in a very high standard of competition.
Tickets (£25 and £30) for the concert can also be bought online at the website: www.nwrotary.co.uk
