At last week's meeting of the club, Kistiah Ramiah, the District Governor of the South Wales District of Rotary International, made his annual visit. Kistiah, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Lampeter, was accompanied by his wife Carol. He addressed the club and gave a progress report on the Rotary programme of charity work and service to the community during his year of office. He congratulated the club on their not inconsiderable work in the community considering that they are a small club of only just over 20 members. Kistiah has so far visited over 50 clubs of the 70- odd in the district. He was thanked by club president, Robin Bradbury.
