The Rotary Club of Tenby were hosts recently to a Rotary Friendship Exchange Team from District 3060 Gujarat, about 200 miles from Mubai, India, accompanied by District 1150, RFE international chairman, James Akeroyd, of the Cefn Sidan club, and president Alan Cooper, together with past president David Lewis, of the Carmarthen club. The team, consisting of seven Rotarians - four doctors, an accountant, a financial advisor, and a mechanical engineer - together with their partners, were paying a visit to West Wales, and requested an opportunity to see the new lifeboat and station, which was kindly arranged by operations manager, Rotary past president, Freddy Broomhead. President Stephen thanked past presidents Jim Fleming and Don Ramsay for their assistance during the visit and Chris Sierwald for providing the refreshments, which were much appreciated by everyone. There will be a team from District 1150 South, Mid and West Wales going to Gujarat, next January.
