The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland celebrated 40 years of service to the community at last week's meeting, being the 40th anniversary of the club being granted its charter. The assistant district governor, Ted Whatley, of the Pembroke Club, congratulated the club on its achievements over the years and mentioned many of the ways in which the club had served the area. He also mentioned the Rotarians from the club who had served in higher positions in Rotary International. President Geoff Davies thanked Ted for his kind words and thanked the Plas Hyfryd Hotel for a fine meal.
