Tenby Rotary was the first Rotary Club in Wales to participate in the national conversation on the Wales we Want for future generations. The conversation taking place across Wales is an opportunity to look beyond the short term and focus on the legacy we want to leave for our children and grandchildren. It will help in setting a long term development path for Wales and is directly linked to the proposed Future Generations Bill which is being introduced by Welsh Government this summer to ensure that the public service in Wales is focused on delivering the long term goals we went to achieve for our future Wales. Tenby Rotary Club were delighted to be joined by Peter Davies, Commissioner for Sustainable Futures, in a conversation which focused on the need to have a more enterprising culture to create the opportunities for young people in the future. His extremely enlightening talk generated a lot of interest and provoked a great deal of comment. A vote of thanks to Peter was given by Nigel Ayers, vice-president of Tenby Rotary Club.
