Sir,
As readers will be aware, Tenby Town Council and the Parochial Church Council of Tenby are currently undertaking the restoration and renovation of Tenby's Roll of Honour book for those who lost their lives on, or as a result of active service.
Following extensive research by John Griffiths, Margaret Witter and myself, we have discovered that there are a number of service personnel recorded on the town war memorial, and other war memorials in local schools and churches, who are not recorded in the existing Roll of Honour book.
Further, we have become aware of a number of other service personnel who are not recorded locally at all.
It is our intention to now include all these names in the Roll of Honour book. If anyone has any objections to any of the names being added, can they be made in writing to me at Tenby Town Council offices within the next 14 days.
Names recorded on other memorials, but not the Roll of Honour book:
World War II
Flt. Sgt. Richard Edmund Wilson RAF
Cpl. Arthur Glass REME
FO Geoffrey H. Bowen RAF
Seaman Harold Brummell RN
Sgt. Dewi Madoc Davies (RAFVR)

Jack Johns (there is a Lieut. J. Jones, Royal Marines and a Guardsman D. J. John, Welsh Guards, recorded in the Roll of Honour, but it is unclear as to whether either are this serviceman and that there is a typographical error in the book.)
