RNLI lifeguards Sophie Stanford and Josh Cooke assisted an 18-year old man who started having an epileptic fit while bodyboarding on Tenby South Beach on Wednesday.
Two bodyboarders who were nearby at the time noticed straightaway and pulled him out of the water. The two lifeguards went to the man's aid and kept his head above water until it was possible to move him safely to shore.
RNLI lifeguard, Josh Cooke, commented: "We saw the incident happening and rushed down into the water. We proceeded to keep his head out of the water while he was having his fits."
