Figures presented by Mrs. Norma Surtees at the recent annual general meeting of the Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild revealed that the excellent sum of £25,900 had been realised as a result of their fund-raising efforts last year. The Guild would like to thank everyone, locally and further afield, for their support and donations and for attending the various local events. New president, Mrs. Rosie Allen-Mirehouse, presided over the election of officers, with the following being appointed: Chairman - Mrs. N. Rogers; vice-chairmen - D. Bush and Mrs. V. Kerrison; hon. treasurer - Mrs. N. Surtees; assistant treasurer - Mrs. K. Klau; hon. minute secretary - Mrs. S. Thompson, hon. secretary - Mrs. Tamsin Lewis; assistant secretary - Mrs. V. Kerrison; hon. souvenir secretary - Mrs. K. Klau; assistant souvenir secretary - Mrs. M. Pegg; hon. press officer - Daphne Bush; box secretaries - Mrs. M. Byers and Mrs. M. Pegg.
