At the recent annual general meeting of Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild, Mrs. Maggie Pegg received an award in recognition of her service, from RNLI area manager, Bev Rosser-Smith.

Very many thanks go to all these ladies for their loyal service and to the guild's president, Mrs. Carola Ramsden, and vice-presidents, Mrs. Mary Monsen, Mrs. Mary Mendus, Mrs. S. Wheeler and Mrs. Rosie Allen-Mirehouse.
On June 18, the 2006 Castlemartin fun-run/walk took place, with BBC Wales Today news reporter Abigail Neal starting the event, which saw 141 walkers and runners take part.
The weather didn't deter the followers and so far over £4,000 has been raised, with everyone having thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Thanks go to - Texaco, Princes Gate Water, Pembrokeshire Radio, Pembrokeshiretv.com, My Pembs.com, BBC Radio Wales, Owen Money, Abigail Neal, and, of course, the Tenby Observer, and all the local advertisers and sponsored walkers and runners.
Recently, £1,409 was collected at Tesco and £321 on Flag Day, which is an excellent start to the year - thanks to all.
