THERE is a right royal treat in store for former county queens and attendants of Pembrokeshire YFC.

As part of the federation's 70th anniversary celebrations, current county queen Ros Bushell is organising a reunion of former queens and attendants on April 17.

Ros said: "Being awarded the prestigious role of attendant and queen is a great honour in YFC. It is a demonstration of the person's commitment to the movement and how much that individual has not only given, but the experience they have also gained through young farmers.

"I hope the reunion evening will give past queens, attendants and friends the opportunity to reminisce and share their experiences, which should never be forgotten."

The reunion, which will include cheese and wine, a display of dresses, photographic presentation and a raffle, is being held at the County Show Pavilion, County Showground, Withybush, on Friday, April 17, at 7.30 pm.

Tickets priced £5 are available from the county office on 01437 762639.
