Former players of Narberth RFC will making a bee-line for the Lewis Lloyd ground at Narberth on Saturday, September 18, for a reunion which will be held prior to the Division One League fixture between Narberth and Blackwood. It has been arranged by the Narberth Former Players Association. Speaking recently, association treasurer Peter Spacey said: "All former players of the club will be most welcome to attend the clubhouse from 12.30 pm and a complimentary buffet will be provided before the match in the Players' Bar." Continuing, he said: "Membership of the Narberth Former Players Association continues to grow and new members have been astonished at the excellent value for money arrangements. After the initial membership fee of £15 the subsequent annual fee is reduced to ú10.00. "Members receive a distinctive association tie and an invitation to attend at least two reunions per season. At the reunion, members can enjoy a complimentary pre-match buffet, but more importantly renew old friendships, enjoy some reminiscing and catching up on personal news and current situations." Concluding he said: "The association is an active supporter of Narberth Rugby Club and acts as a match ball sponsor for at least three home matches in the league or cup each season."
