An inspirational campaigner for the rights of disabled people has been remembered in Tenby.
The Pembrokeshire Access Group dedicated a bench in memory of Hazel Cook at Croft Gardens last week.
Hazel, who died three years ago, helped found the group two decades ago and over the years campaigned vigorously for disability equality.
Members of the Access Group gathered at Croft Gardens on Wednesday, October 1 - Hazel's birthday - to remember her.
The ceremony, which was attended by her husband John, was conducted by the Rev. Andrew Davies, of St. Mary's Church, Tenby.
Clr. Anne Hughes, vice-chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, said Hazel had played a key role in highlighting the rights of disabled people in Pembrokeshire.
"Hazel helped found the Access Group 20 years ago and was for many years its president," she said.
"She campaigned tirelessly for disability equality and will be fondly remembered by us all."
The bench was provided by the Access Group and placed in Croft Gardens by Pembrokeshire County Council.
The Access Group campaigns for the removal of barriers to services and facilities and promotes equality of opportunity for disabled people.
